Huijie Sun has a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Peking University with a dissertation focus upon ancient town renaissance. She has studied at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands as visiting scholar and currently works with a design company in Beijing. Sun enjoys traveling, has visited more than 30 countries and has a high interest in ancient towns and World Heritage sites. Her hobbies include diving, skiing and photography. Sun is especially passionate about discovering the beauty of this world, experiencing different cultures, their traditions, cultural landscapes and lifestyles, and contributing to their sustainability.
